Death By Capital-Christianity. Get Woke, Get Lit, Get Dangerous- by Gawain

Capitalism and Christianity have turned out to be a toxic mix. At least the kind that has developed.

Would the man who wandered around Judea two thousand years ago recognize these “Christians” as his followers?

There’s nothing ‘civilized’ or Jesus-like about this economic-religious institution. It’s authoritarian, corrupt, brutal and profane, which explains why the American Capital-Christians are aligning themselves with their Russian counterparts:

Toxic masculinity, dog-eat-dog capitalism, human exploitation, fossil fuel extraction, violent anti-LGBTism, militarized policing, poisoned water, poisoned land, poisoned air– these things are all characteristics of Capital-Christianity.

Of course, non-Christians in Asia, and other places, have their own local versions of Capital based religions with similar results.

So, what do these people hold sacred, since that is the crux of every religion? What is it that they worship? What is sacred to them?

The answer, obviously, appears to be domination and wealth. Those are their sacred things. Run the numbers. In the end it is a death cult. A profane, global death cult. Unsustainable and merciless. This religion, no matter what pretty marketing campaign they cover it with, leads to suffering and death with a mathematical certainty.

I don’t want to sound alarmist, but a crash is coming, or a revolution, which would be a kind of crash. Again, I don’t want to sound alarmist, but the trend line is completely unsustainable. And Trump and the American GOP are only parts of the problem. Removing them and leaving the “religion” that brought us them, will solve nothing.

The solution is eradicating the Capital-Christian system– pulling it out and burning, root and branch, that whole system, that is the solution. Sounds radical, but given the likelihood of a catastrophic system failure it would be a good idea to begin thinking about what happens next. Meditating about it. Praying about it, in fact, since what we need is a new economic system that, like the old one, is also a religion.

In the face of the global capitalist death cult, indigenous environmentalists have been showing the way forward, I think. They are clearly and simply expressing what is sacred to them and what they are willing to fight and die for.

And it is often the women indigenous people who are out front. They are the ones being arrested and assaulted and killed. They are being killed for proclaiming water as sacred and trying to protect it’s purity. Imagine.

Meanwhile in the death cult of the Capital-Christians how sacred and valuable do they hold the basic ingredient to life, water?

Passivity in the face of the death-cultist leads to catastrophe, sooner or later, and it’s looking more and more like that will be sooner. And effective opposition will be met with casual brutality and murder, because this is one of their sacraments. But the time is coming, in fact may be here now, when every person will answer the question: “What is sacred to you and what will you fight for?”.

You should know your answer to that question now.

Protect what is sacred. Every belief system protects what is sacred. Get woke. Get lit. Get dangerous and protect what you hold sacred. The time is now.
